mine took some time to come off,...

i sprayed the outer edge with some Liquid Wrench, let sit, put all bolts back in, hit it a couple times with rubber mallet, took bolts back out, hit with rubber mallet, and it popped loose

1980 930, just did this a couple months back.

clean up any rust that mught be arount the edge of the flywheel so it can slide out. you may be able to knock at it with a punch through the bolt holes from the backside. should be just a matter of working it loose

Did you get water in there before you started?
sounds like the disc is stuck to both sufaces. If you removed the bolts there is nothing holding it on.
If it's the stock rubber center disc some may have come off and is help sticking the parts together.
just tap it off

wolf,
I don't believe I've ever gotten water in there.. I don't think there's a rubber center either,, looks just like my 80 which didn't have one I think they dis-continued them after 86 or so.. ..
I've tried tapping and hitting with a plastic hammer. I've also tried driving it sideways so the plate slips over the outside of the flywheel , but it's not budging .. the holes to the flywheel still line up

Well.
If it's unbolted then there is nothing holding it on.
Must be fused together.I've seen it happen

We drove a wedge between disc and flywheel
your p plate has not released.
when you unbolted it ,it didn't release
heating it up could work.

We are not there but you are so look at it closely and see what going on.
when you unbolted it the p plate should have expanded but sounds like it didn't
and it's stuck on or rusted on. when was it last drivin?
