911sc outdoor car cover - venice ca

Hello, Im looking for the proper car cover for california beach weather. I keep hearing horror stories of covers and how they hold water and dirt underneath and it can become worse... My car is outside all night and day. it collects ocean air / fog overnight and a good amount of sun all day. Ideally I'd want to keep it dust free, bird free, harsh sunlight free to avoid dash cracks - yet breathe....... any history on this would be great.. links of which to purchase would be amazing. thanks in advance. 911 sc 1979

Pelican Parts - Coverbond-4 Cover Material
I've been using this car cover for many years, probably gone thru 3 or 4 of them.
A bit of care before you put it on everytime is suggested, I use the California car duster
before I put my cover on.

No help here, but have a good friend who lived on the beach in Venice, it was shocking how thick the film would be on his 930 if he did not park it in his enclosed garage. I never really knew what that film was.

most likely a mix of salt spray & smog

be sure to get a cover that keeps aerial skaters off...

30 years ago I lived in Venice and my DB4 engine was out for months. I came out to the carport one morning and found a man and a women living in the car. They had crawled under the car, and climbed in where the trannie tunnel had been removed.
