Cool Ring and pinion

After a long search I finally picked up a factory LSD. Now I need to install it and set the ring and pinion. Can I "set" the lash with out jigs and etc.? Does any one know of any one in South East MA that can do this?
I'm thinking I'd like to set up some kind of cooler. Any Ideas?

you would use the same shims that the original ring gear came with. you are just changing the "carrier". the pinion doesn't need to be messed with. it can be done easily in the car. unbolt the CVs from the trans, remove the drive flanges, remove the side cover and pull out the ring gear unit. remove the bolts and swap the ring gear onto the posi unit, along with the speedo disc. take the original bearings and shims off each side and reinstall them on the same side of the posi unit. use new lock plates. reassemble in reverse order. piece of cake. only the original equipment ZF unit can be done this way. the quaife units need to be reshimmed sideways, as they don't have the same dimensions as the ZF.

This thread has some info on trans coolers;
trans cooler thread

Your best bet is one of the electric pumps as pictured in that thread. The factory mechanical pump set up, either late or early style is prohibitively expensive.

here is a pic of my late style mechanicaly driven cooler;

here is an exploded view;
