86 911 Carrera Calliper color
I had my front calliper replaced and they all had been painted red by the former owner. Im getting a 1 stage paint correction done for a few swirls and scratches and considering doing it up with H9 ceramic including the Callipers and wondering if I should get the others stripped to original silver or just paint the new replaced calliper red to match?
what do you guys think? |

Rebuilding mine currently and dropping them at Hudson Plating for zinc coating. They are in Delta.

Personally, I prefer the OEM factory style plated. My calipers were working fine, but just years and mileage had them looking a bit tired, so I sent them to PMB for a refurbish and new plating. They looked like new.

have them do a nickel strike first, then zinc, it will better seal the castings than zinc alone and if they do cadmium, definitely have that done, it's far superior to zinc.
