Help please

While at Hershey, DougE came across a new (never on an engine) set of double plug heads. I was told that they would fit on a 3.0.

The part # is 930 104 341 3R with a casting date of 4/87.

While I realize that the number indicates a turbo application, can anyone point me in the direction of application and specs for these heads.

Thanks in advance.

Marc, that's not a part number but the casting number.

Incidentally, engine part numbers beginning with 930 were introduced with the 3 litre SC in 1978 & do not necessarily indicate parts specific to the 930 (3 litre Turbo) model.

When the 3.0 Turbo came out it had an aluminum case where as the 2.7's of the day were mag cases. When the SC came out, or for that matter the 3.0 Carrera (like Noahs), it used the alluminum case from the Turbo, hence the 930****** part numbers.

They should fit fine.

Andy: If thats not the part number, then how do I identify the heads??

Bobby: Thanks for the info, but I am trying to find out the original application for these heads, so I will know if they were for a turbo, or not.

Thank you both.
