Need pictures of installed rear wiper assembly

I just purchase a complete rear wiper assembly for my 77 911 with a 930 package and whale tale. My car has the switch already on the dash and the wiring in the engine compartment so I thought it would be just a simple bolt one. From looking at the unit I believe it mounts on the passenger side trunk hinge, but not sure. I was wondering if someone could post some pictures of one already mounted?
Thanks in advance,
Robert Faust

On my '86 it is mounted n the driver's side. Also, the grill has a cut out for the arm. Let me know if you need more details that what is shown in the pictures.

Thanks, I can't see on account of the hose but is the wiper motor attached to the trunk hinge? It looks to me like that is where it would mount but I have no holes in mine. I have the hole in the trunk where the shaft comes out.

Thanks,
Robert Faust

Robert:

Yes, the wiper motor is attached to the hinge in 2 spots; se attached photos.

Well that pretty much shows me what I was looking for and I don't have the slotted holes in mine. Guess I will now start a quest for that type hinge. Here is a picture of the one I have. Probably I could drill some holes, but think I'll try a post request and see if anyone has one they'd like to sell. Thanks for your great pictures.
Here is a picture of my hinge:

Since your using a tail you use the wiper with the longer shaft and mount, they came in two different lengths.

Craig, here is a picture of the unit I just purchased. The threaded shaft is 3 1/2 inches long, then center wiper shaft extends out (for wiper) 3/4 inch.

Is this the correct one or is there a longer one?
Thanks,
Robert Faust

that looks like the long one, stick it up thru the tail and see if the threads come out so you can get the nut on it.

Yes it sticks out far enough but there are no mounting slots (holes) in my trunk hinge for mounting. And it appears the existing triangle opening in the hinge is where one of the mounting bolt/screw for the motor would go. Because the car is a 1977 with existing factory switch in dash and wiring to where motor should be mounted could this unit I've pictured above be from a later year?
Thanks,
Robert Faust

The wiper shaft appears to be missing the bushing that keeps the linkage from colapsing the fiberglass tail.
