Seattle Area Shop for Corner Balance & Alignment?

Having completed the Elephant Racing rubber bushing install on my SC, I need a corner balance and and 4 wheel alignment. Any recommendations for shops in the Puget Sound area? I am in North Kitsap, but Seattle area locations are fine. If John Walker does this stuff I may just run it over there. Thanks for suggestions -

John

TruLine - Bellevue
Cantrell Motorsports - Kirkland

while on the subject, for a shop, hit Chris's German in Bellevue - you will be glad you stopped in
nothing else

Nothing against Cantrell (not used them), but Tru-Line is a family business with shops in Seattle and Bellevue - you'll be very happy with either.

I know Tru-Line Bellevue because Chris's German is almost next door. Both they and John Walker use/recommend Tru-Line - about as good as recommendation as you can get...

I agree, Byron is the best!

But with all the bits he installed I was thinking he might be tracking the car....if so, Collin (Cantrell) does great track set ups....

But stop into Chris's first and see what they suggest....I trust them with my life - literally !

I'm not sure John Walker recommends tru-line any more. Maybe ask him?

I went to truline 3 times in the 11 years I owned my sc and I'm done with it. For some reason I'm not able to communicate clearly with Byron. He asks a few questions (30 seconds?) and then tells me he knows just the thing and the car is solid but never how I wanted it. At the time I didn't know what I didn't like and just trusted him.

I went to Fordahl and he vigorously cross examined me to figure out what I wanted. Absolutely perfect results and I'm loyal to him for that. He is very dogmatic though so bring thick skin.

I met with Collin before starting suspension work. Very easy to talk to and I've run into many of his loyal customers. No doubt he'd do what you needed.

I'd say Fordahl or Cantrell, whichever is closer.

Fordahl has moved BTW...no longer in Bellevue

I have a great relationship with Byron, but that's because I know his kryptonite is chocolate

I got mine done at Tru-Line is Seattle. We had a good talk about how I wanted to use the car and we set up an appointment. I also ordered a fresh set of tires from Tire Rack and had them sent over there. They gave me a call when the tires were in and the next day was the appt. Just drove the car over there and hung around for a few hours while they did their thing. Swapped tires, balanced, alignment and corner balanced. Drove like it was on rails afterwards.

I would say "sporty street", but wasn't sporty enough. I didn't know what was possible without compromising tire wear and straight line stability. Finding what I wanted required a more vigorous cross examination.

Lowering a little makes a huge difference for these cars.

Here's my current ride height and I wouldn't change a thing:

Another vote for Greg Fordahl. He's quite the suspension guru.

Group 2 Motorsport in Magnolia (Seattle) knows how to set up a car right. Had a bad experience with Trueline.

I won't go into detail on a public forum. There are always two sides to every story, so it would not be fair. I just leave it at the fact that I was not happy.

I've had good luck with TruLine Bellevue; for 6 years with HPDE setup on my old SI and multiple other tire/alignment on family vehicles.

That is a great looking car! Like the stance.

Thanks for all the feedback, everyone. Wheels are going back on the car tonight and she will be back on the ground. I will call both Fordahl and Tru-Line in Seattle and get something set up.
