EGR Pipe Please Help!!

Well, I took my Car in for it's CALIF.SMOG..
Passed emitions with flying colors, Passed Visual with Flying colors, But, well it looks like now they test the functionality of the EGR crap!! well I have had this car sinse 93 and they never checked the Vaccume on the EGR about 6 yrs ago I cut the pipe that goes from the EGR to the air box and pinched it off. it looks like it still hooked up but its not.
I went to 3 different smog places and they all checked it.
So now I need to replace this pipe. Does anyone have a EGR to Air Box pipe they don't need and want to sell? or does anyone know where I can purchase one? I'm up the creek here..
I hope I can count on you guys to bail me out on this.

Thanks..

Jorge (Targa Dude)

I assume you are referring to the line labeled 32 in the above diagram. I would expect you can obtain it new from Porsche ($$$) as it's an emmissions control system part. Pelican could probably order it for you. You may try Parts Heaven for a used one. Let me know if you want me to look up the Porsche part no. I just replaced the "y" hose for the auxilliary air regulator valve on my '76 and that was not a cheap part! I now know why the previous owners had patched it instead of replacing it. Cheers, Jim

Hi Jim, Thanks for the response.. anyway you are right,
according to the diagram I need item 32 but I also need
items 42, 43 and 44.

I checked with Porsche and this part is no longer available
I have been calling all the Porsche salvage yards from here to Kingdom come with no luck.

So I figured maybe someone here on the board maybe hit the 30 year mark and removed these from their car and no longer has the need for them.

But as luck would have it nothing
looks like I wil have to drop my engine and devise something.
buy the way is there anywhere else I can get the vaccume from?
I still have a stub from my egr I just need to get vacumme to it?
so when they hook up their Vaccume gage it reads something.

Thanks Again.. Jorge (Targa Dude)
