Drawings of my 911 dream !
Hey guys,
Just finished some drawings of my 911 dream ! This is how i would like it to be looking like ! Narrow bodied SC or 3.2 with Almeras Gr.4 Rallye body kit (like this one YouTube - PORSCHE 911 RSR DM PERFORMANCE) BBS E50 gold wheels in 17 inches if possible with some decent tyres like Toyo R888 Chassis full of Elephant Racing goodies ![]() Stripped interior Engine : still not sure ![]() Colour ... still not sure but really tempted for something like slate grey with gold decals or chocolate brown with gold decals ![]() Please tell me what you guys think. Now all I need is to have enough money to build it ![]() Enjoy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Grey or baby blue for sure! I've always been in love with that blue, especially with gold wheels and carrera script...I wish I could have one as well, cheers on the drawing!

What software did you use to create those images? Photoshop? I would love to be able to see the look of the 911 that I am building instead of just in my mind!

Sort of a combo of these two but a wide car.

Same here, but I think a bigger tail is needed with those flares and front air dam.

That looks like the car I drove this weekend. I met up with a friend and drove his 934 replica. I thought my car attracted attention... holy Zork tube!
That car is a drug! ![]()

Hi Puk
You'll have to bear with me on this as I'm an absolute newbie to Pelican, so please excuse any stuff ups if they happen. That aside, it looks like you and I share similar tastes. We have just started building exactly what you are looking at doing. I run the sales side of an independent Porsche specialist here in Sydney and we've decided to do a project car in the spriit of the 911 SC Grp 4. We were lucky enough to have the Porsche factory send Walter Rohrl and a genuine SC Grp 4 out to Australia for Targa Tasmania last year, so we managed to get a good look at it in the flesh. That was enough to tip me over the edge and buy the bodykit, it looked great. As you'd know, not many people have used that look for a project car and we were a little hesitant but seeing it in person sealed it. Our car is based on a 87 RHD 3.2 Carrera, its not meant to be a replica in the strictest sense, it 's meant to be something that someone can drive to work a few days a week if they want to, take it out for a good Sunday thrashing and go and do half a dozen track days a year in. An out and out race/track car it will not be, we want it to be a pleasant modern place to be, so god forbid it will have AC that works ( we've delveloped out own kits that actually work with parallel flow and serpentine condensors ) to cope with the Australian summers and things like a nice stereo with Bluetooth and nav. The interior will have the following: RS carpet set without rear seats, carbon fibre seats very similar to Recaro Pole Position, wevo billet shifter with centre console delete and switches moved to dashboard, engine start button, 964RS door panels and pulls, dash, knee pads, cig tray, door top trims and trim below rear quarter windows all wrapped in genuine Alcantara and loads of black anodised Rennline goodies. Engine will have the following: 3.4L piston and barrell set likely to run 10.3:1 compression ratio still on single plug but with custom shape piston dome to allow good fuel burn. The motronic ECU will be re mapped and set up to run on 98 RON fuel, custom cams similar to DC 20/21's, extrude honed standard manifold, increased bore throttle body, lightweight valve spring and retainers, complete rebuild right down to the crank with blueprinted assembly ( everything weighed and matched for fine tolerance ). Hoping to have 280-290 HP at the flywheel. Gearbox will remain standard but with new performance clutch and WEVo billet shifter as mentioned above. Suspension will be most of RSR's (Rebel Racing ) catalogue. Will include custom valved Bilstein RSR threaded shocks with coil overs, spring rated and valved to accomodate street and track use. 935 style RSR spring plates, rear arm monoball bearings, semi solid front strut mounts, adjustable RSR front and rear sway bars, RSR billet front control arm bushing kit, triangulated front strut brace, rear suspension upper mount / domes strengthening kit etc.... Brakes are also from RSR's catalogue, they will be their Brembo caliper/disc/pad set up front and rear with stainless steel lines. These will have to go under a set of Penta Motorsport 917 replica 17' custom aluminium wheels, trying to jam these calipers under 16' wheels will be very tight. That's about it right now, I'll post some pictures to give you some mroe incentive to get your car up and running too. Oh, almost forgot, our car is in it's original grand prix white and will have a black decal kit, I'd love to see it on your renderings in that colour. I have some of our own renderings of front side and rear tha I'd be happy to share. Sorry about all the photos jammed in at the end but I have'nt worked out how to drop them in amongst the text as I go yet. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
