Stumbled across these forums and really enjoyed the place - great tone of voice and content.

Been on a six month hunt for a 911 turbo older than '82, which happily ended a week ago. First Porsche. Nervous. Happy. Cheshire Cat syndrome: "My husband's disappeared again!? Must be off in that new car..."

Will post a photo when I get online with computer.

Finally got online again! Sheesh, you guys are active!

1980 930, 68,000 miles on the clock, pretty reasonable nick, a little interior wear, red and black leather, engine seems OK, Porsche specialist says I done well... :)

Changing the wheels and steering wheel! Nothing wrong with them but think it whould be as it was. :)

I like the steering wheel, except maybe the chrome ring. It might be possible to remove the ring and install with black screws and no ring.

Thinking that replica Fuchs are the way I'll go. And seen an old three spoke steering wheel on eBay I an stalking

I'd put a 930s steering wheel in it.
