Another newbie

Stumbled across these forums and really enjoyed the place - great tone of voice and content.

Been on a six month hunt for a 911 turbo older than '82, which happily ended a week ago. First Porsche. Nervous. Happy. Cheshire Cat syndrome: "My husband's disappeared again!? Must be off in that new car..."

Will post a photo when I get online with computer.

Dan

Finally got online again! Sheesh, you guys are active!

1980 930, 68,000 miles on the clock, pretty reasonable nick, a little interior wear, red and black leather, engine seems OK, Porsche specialist says I done well...

Let's see if this works:

+1 and look great, too

I like the steering wheel, except maybe the chrome ring. It might be possible to remove the ring and install with black screws and no ring.

I'd put a 930s steering wheel in it.
