MFI question on73T
I think I may may have a problem with the solenoid on top of the fuel filter on my 73T with MFI. Does anyone know where the signal comes from to tell it to allow raw gas to squirt into the throttle bodies?

Signal comes from terminal 50, start circuit, runs thru a thermo time switch mounted on the breather housing & then to the cold start solenoid. System only works with engine temp under 40 degree C .

Howard, thankyou for the advice.
What or where is terminal 50? Also is the breather located mid engine by the MFI pump? I see a wire on the oil pressure sending sensor. is this it?

Terminal 50 is the starter circuit, yellow wire .& yes breather cover is mid engine next to the MFI pump. Should be a temp switch mounted on it.
For you info, Terminal 50 staeter circuit terminal 30 battery hot circuit terminal 15 ignition on circuit terminal 31 ground circuit This is just a few of many for reference. Howard
