Damn! I don't know which I like better, the car or the shop. Congrats! Resist the urge to track her, if you do, think about clear bra or at least tape.

car is a 95 993 grand prix white over cashmere 52K miles,im now the 3rd owner. It had a techart tail added and the front techart chin spoilers,H/R springs, B/B exhaust,18" RUF wheels/Pilot Sports, kenwood satelite radio/w cd changer. It also came with all original parts in as new condition. It had the LSD option from factory.I wasnt sure about the techart stuff but it is growing on me.the pictures do NOT do this car any justice. Its very beautiful and elegant if you can say that about a 911.I had a chance to drive it late last night but it was raining out so I was very careful.I tell ya,a ice cold A/c and radio is a very nice treat in a 911,something I can get used to,window defogger to,wow,Im rolling in luxury.Power is very strong but the car is very quiet do to the exhaust Im used to on my SC,so Im really unaware of how fast I am going and how quickly Im getting there. Its deceptive speed. The best way i can describe these 2 cars after a quik test is that the 911SC is a naked RAW drive but lots of fun and perfect communication from the car.The 993 is refined and up to date elegance with deceptive speed. But I think we all knew that already.Just my initial .02 cents.More to come as the 993 needs the rotors turned/pads and Im going to get rid of the RUF wheels.Change all fluids, the rear window wiper arm snapped and needs replacement (gucci problem).LOL.

Nippy,
Agree with the assessment, went through the same thing when I bought my 993 in 06. My '74 with manual steering/brakes likes to be tossed around when driven hard on the track, i.e. she's a beast. The 993 is much smoother and refined but as you said, the speed is deceptive, very quickly in triple-digit territory. Nice to have working heat, a/c and tunes for taking the wife out to dinner, I think of them as Beauty and the Beast. BTW, despite being heavy, the 993 is no slouch on the track. Weakest point on mine was the suspension, I upgraded to H&R coilovers which are rebadged Bilsteins and it transformed the handling. Sounds like you have tasteful upgrades. My earlier comment was because I said I would not track my 993 either but sooner or later you're going to want to see what she can do on the track, just protect your paint.

I think the Ruf wheels suit the car.

Can you post more pics of your SC too? Love the paint, rear bumper and duck. Id like to see the wheels and any mods you made to the front.

993 is super nice. I'd love to own one some day. Great color combo. Congrats!
