Valve Cover Gakets: Install Dry or Oiled?
I just purchased a standard valve cover gasket kit from our host (yes, I know about silicone gaskets, but I chose the basic ones this time).
Pelican Parts - Product Information: 10-0906-091-M260 Should these be installed dry or should I give them a light coat of oil first? If they're installed dry, do I need to get the valve cover and cam tower dry as well? Or, perhaps I am over thinking this...

Gaskets and everything else should be dry.

Dry. I replaced mine this year with the gasket kit that has a bead of silicone on the lowers. I had used the all silicone ones up to that point.
I have no oil drips from the covers whatsoever. Be sure to torque the valve cover nuts properly(inside to outside, crisscross) and to the correct torque setting.
