Lightbulb Clinometer: analog & digital

If you do not have this...

And you have an android or ios phone...then You might want to try one of these apps

Android Clinometer app

Iphone/Ipad/Ipod Clinometer app

And don't forget to make you sure you wrap your phone/ipod/ipad with plastic wrap from the kitchen to shield from grease and dirt...

Either way it should get the job done...

Steve..

You are very welcome Steve! Glad to be of help.

It is nice to have additional tools on hand as a back up. And a lot better if it is FREE...Our clinometer/protractor is not as nice as my initial posted picture... our gently owned vw-261 peiseler in the toolbox

UI feedback is important...

For those utilizing the digital clinometer app(s), Kindly post your feedback(s) on the apps in this thread for others to benefit if it was useful or buggy, etc...TY

Donohue checking the rear wing of Peter Gregg's private 917/10 (-007), driven by Hurley Haywood in the '73 Can-Am series. Photo by Hal Crocker.

Photo on top of page by me of my Clinometer, from a previous thread on vintage tools.
