If original engine and induction...

Why do you want to convert away from carbs? Zenith's run great in a 70T.

I think Clewett is the only one that offers a PMO ITB/EFI kit.

You might also check Rennsport and Rothsport for their offerings. I know both have EFI throttle bodies and are capable of assembling an engine but am unsure of "kit" availability.

Al Iksomal on the board has a kit based on Triumph triple throttle bodies. You should contact him as well.

If you had a CIS engine I would recommend the Bitz Racing kit. Easy to install and very complete.

I have done 2 70/71 911Ts and this is my writeup.

Another ITB Megasquirt and EDIS setup experience

If you are going to buy a "kit" start with the PMO throttle, manifolds and linkage. Then add EDIS and megasquirt. The DZ X and T-Bitz kits are still missing ignition and if you don't get rid of the Marelli dizzy you are wasting your time.

Last tip, check your car for a return fuel line. If it doesn't have one a stainless one like the factory did, it can be installed in 3 simple steps.
1.Disassemble entire car.
2.Insert return fuel line through tunnel.
3.Reassemble entire car.
Someone correct me if I missed a step there ;-)

What did you come up with for filters... I have yet to see anything about that either here or dzug.

Although this pic is from a different EFI setup than the Speed Triple kit (proto in progress) it shows the Uni-filters that are part of the kit.

These are all good choices....................but....................
I would recommend that you start with standard ignition and dial in the fuel/injection control. Once you get that dialed in properly, move on to ignition control. Crankfire, using EDIS (inexpensive, bulletproof and fairly straightforward addition to all of the "kits") is a good choice and the M'squirt will control both. Tuning is really not that difficult.....but .......................... changing one major engine control variable at a time is good practice, typically.

al

PS: that's just me..............I am easily confused and i could be wrong.

I should qualify my statement above. I agree with Al in that if you do not have a lot of patience and a strong engineering background you need to start simple and then add a system at a time. Trouble shooting a car that was once running and now is not, but you have changed everything can drive you a bit insane. However the weak point on the older cars is the ignition and without it you will never get 100% out of EFI. Do the injection with whatever kit you choose, get it running and then ditch the dizzy. Good plan of attack.

BTW Al those throttles look nice!

Kevin
