rear deck fabrc
the fabric has shrunk; pulled away from the rear window.
will heating it allow me to stretch it back into shape? tx.

Vinyl or leather?
Leather can be reconditioned and stretched, vinyl I'm not so sure.

Try removing it from the car and putting out in the sun for an hour or so, then lightly pull. Usually will give some. Hair dryer can also be used but be careful not to burn in spots.
Worst case, A few yards of new naugahyde is cheap at most fabric stores. Black easy to match, other colors maybe not so.
