That both '70 and '71 911 T,E, and S's came with the 2,2 rear window sticker - you know, bottom dead center. However, why do I sense that only the '70 models came with this? Anybody have the definitive answer?

71's did come with the 2.2 sticker as well. They're available from Tweeks for a few bucks. I'm working on a modified "2.5L" version of the original sticker for my own car!! ------------------ 1971 911T - 2.5L Big Bore [This message has been edited by cegerer (edited 08-01-2001).]

Hello As 2,0 and 2,2 look very similar Porsche placed the decail for following up cars saying thats why they didnīt keept up like with oter 911īs. I think the dealers where asked to make the 2,2 easyer visible. The sticker also indicates the enginetype. Now some guys weīnt to stickertune there Tīs while other went to detune der Sīs with a īT sticker or just removed them. In those years the energy crisis hit the marked and some people even liked to have a new car looking like there old car and knowing the power upgrade inside. It also was a indication that the car run on normal fuel. Grüsse
