Engine break-in regimen...

What's the concensus about breaking in a refreshed engine (3.0) and transmission (915)? How would you go about it?

I always vary the RPM's, no single gear highway cruising. Up and down thru each gear from idle to 500rpms below actual redline.

Heat cycles get counted too, as part of the regimen. I never lugged the rpms in any gear!
