Improved shift coupler for 86 911?

So I've seen most of the posts for replacing shift coupler bushings with new delrin ones, but I could not find much about this replacement for the traditional shift coupler. Anyone have any experience with using the one below? Is it worth the extra $$? How much improvement in shifting if any? Does it last longer without the usual adjusting/maint needed with the original one? Any opinions would be most helpful. Seems like this would be a big improvement. Is it? Thanks!

Do a search for "Stomski shift coupler" and you'll find plenty of opinions.

It looks like a good one I replaced mine with a Wevo, though and thought the upgrade was well worth the extra money spent.

I also went with a Wevo PSJ.

It was a very noticeable and nice improvement.

I like both the Stomski and the Wevo. I've had both, but use the Wevo now.

They do seem to work well when you've installed a short shifter.

I used the stock coupler and replaced the bushing with "Ed's Bushing". Best $35. I ever spent. My 915 shifts like a dream.

Delrin version gives great shifting for 1/4 the price of those other gadgets, which also work very well. I see no point in spending the extra money.

I have the Wevo and am very happy with it. Changed it 8 years ago and it is still no play

Wevo makes a great product - There is no doubting that!

Keep in mind I throw away a lot of bushings made from lord knows who and can say without reservation, not all replacement bushings (even Delrin ones) are created equal

Thanks to everyone who responded. I guess I need to check out the wevo coupler also.
Ed, are the bushings sold as delrin by our host the same as the ones sold by you or are yours somehow different? I thought yours were now being sold by PP. I purchased the delrin ones sold on Pelican thinking they were yours, but now I'm confused. I'm planning to replace all the bushings or install a new coupler like the one above at the same time I do the Seine shift gate mod.

Thanks for helping a relative newbie!

wevo coupler

I have had the Wevo on 2 different cars and it is a big improvement - however it will not fix a worn transmission, sloppy bushings or poor adjustment.

By far the best bang for the buck is to replace the bushings in the stock coupler.
