'82 911 w/3.2 conversion. Will not idle - Like, not at all!

Hey Guys,

New to the forum, but have been browsing constantly for the last couple weeks. I'm not new to Porsche's, but I am new to 911's an I have a little problem. The original thread I started on Rennlist is here, otherwise I will get right to the point. '82 911SC w/ '84 3.2 conversion. Just purchased and isnt running. Repair help thread! - Rennlist Discussion Forums

So the car is a '82 SC, but the previous owner swapped in a '84 3.2. When I bought it she wasn't running - turned out to be a bad reference sensor and is now fixed and the car is running (woohoo!). Now the problem is the car does not want to idle. AT ALL! I have found many other threads about not idling when warm or when cold or whatever, but my vehicle just plain doesn't idle ever. Its a pain in the butt.

Any ideas where to start or how to diagnose? The idle switch seems to be working and touching. Vacuum leaks always come to mind first, but with almost all the vacuum lines behind the engine they have been tough to check. I haven't tried staying carb cleaner yet but I'm sure that would be plenty hard to do too, considering it won't idle at all so you have to keep your foot on the gas pedal.

P.S. Is there anyway it could be the throttle linkage?
