Too many forums and memberships - it's hard enough remembering my name!

real550A 11-11-2007 12:01 PM

I was "caretaker" of 1957 Spyder 550A0123 for three years. If you Google the chassis #
you'll find it in the Samsung Transportation Museum in Korea presently, along with a nice
gathering of other Porsche factory cars.

Netspeed 11-11-2007 12:04 PM

Back in 1994, my final college paper was a business plan for an online speed shop hence the name Netspeed.

azasadny 11-11-2007 12:19 PM

1st initial (a) and last name (zasadny). Pretty original...

oldschoollear 11-11-2007 12:25 PM

Lear 24 was the first jet I ever flew, which is kinda sentimental. It was very old school, none of the push button crap new jets have today:D

berettafan 11-11-2007 12:31 PM

I'm an avid bird hunter and Beretta shotguns are my favorite by far. Particularly when waterfowling.

targa911S 11-11-2007 12:37 PM

I own a 911T Coupe

Tsunamiboy 11-11-2007 12:48 PM

I dubbed my 914 a Tsunami Scooter when we used it to climb up some logging roads to get to high ground after a Tsunami warning siren went off in Oceanside, Oregon where I live. My girlfriend started calling me Tsunamiboy after that periless escape

white knuckles as dubbed by my wife after her first ride in the pcar...

slodave 11-11-2007 01:20 PM

I spent a few years in San Luis Obispo going to college. Original screen name was SLO Dave. Unix does not like capitals or spaces in user names. It became 'slodave'. I'll probably use it until I die.

Dave

pwd72s 11-11-2007 01:30 PM

I've been thinking of changing mine to just pwd, my initials. No longer have a '72S...and pretty sure that I'll never want another P-car...

Should require no explanation

t6dpilot 11-11-2007 01:53 PM

Not real original nor applicable to Porsches - oh well. Honestly, I had no idea that it was going to be my screen name. My other passion is aviation and I fly a North American AT-6D.

onlycafe 11-11-2007 02:01 PM

name of my restaurant.

Mysterytrain 11-11-2007 02:21 PM

Mystery Train, a song written by Junior Parker and Sam Phillips. Elvis' last recording at Sun Studios in Memphis before going to RCA, a dark comedy by Jim Jarmusch. The name of my last band and Jack Daniels was spoken for.

Zef 11-11-2007 02:29 PM

ZEF was my nickname as teen......Everybody here (all my friends and family) know me as Zef...

Zeke 11-11-2007 02:53 PM

Rory, this is not one of my proudest threads. I probably started this when I first came on the BBS (the 911 side, that is). How in the world did you....?

Oh well, if you read the first couple of pages, I paid for it. ;)

Buckterrier 11-11-2007 03:06 PM

In honor of a Manchester Terrier I had for 15 years, had to finally put him down last August :(

squerly 11-11-2007 03:14 PM

I was driving my 930 at a Porsche - Corvette challenge and my car got "squerly" in a corner. Crashed and the car had to be removed on a flatbed. Anyhow, the name "Squerly" stuck.
