Ultimate strut install

I bought one of these and in the pic it shows that the hood shocks are still installed, should I remove them?

I guess he was saying you weren't providing enough info, since a lot of people may not know what that is.

To answer your question...

If your struts are in good shape, the Siene part is redundant. On the other hand, you don't need the struts if you install the Siene part, unless you might open your trunk lid on a windy day, or bump it with your head when it's open.

Your call...

I think I’ll leave them. Mine close after about 15 seconds and I have been clobbered a few times now. I can only imagine how much it would hurt if I took the shocks out, bumped that pole and got drilled in the back by the latch.
