Porsche Crest Has My Crane Optical Trigger Died? HELP.

I put a new crane optical trigger in my 001 distributor. It fired up set the timing and was running pretty smooth. Drove it around the block a couple of times and it started missing and now I just can not seem to get it running really at all. Has any body else had problems with these trigger. Any help would be Great.

I have had one in the targa for more than 10years.

Have you put a 12V test light on the white wire lead? It should blink when you crank the engine. If it does, your problem is elsewhere.

What ignition are you running? What car? Please provide more info on the installation.

have you checked for spark at the coil? have you checked your dist/rotor?

I am running an msd 6a and blaster 2 coil. I have had a hard time checking things out. I need to get a remote starter so I can check the trigger at the back of the car. The car is a 1976 with a 3.2 and webers.
