Update and New addition..

Hello all,

Its been a little bit since the last update but i have been enjoying the 911 Targa very much. Now that I have it all sorted out, it starts every time and runs like a dream!! The only major mechanical thing left is brakes.. I think I have a frozen caliper on the passenger side front, but other than that its been great! im looking forward to start working on the cosmetics of the car now the its running good. i always get the thumbs up and lots of waves when driving it.

Now on to the new addition, I got a deal on this I couldnt pass up so I picked up this 997 C2S 3.8 liter 6spd. Man this thing is fast! Im still going out to the garage and saying "holy crap! I actually have 2 911s!!!" A life long dream is finally true..anyway enough of that.. here are the cars..

Marc

Just havent made it that far yet. The Targa has been all about mechanical issues so far. If you saw my thread there was a mouse living in the engine and a washer in number 5 cyl so I spent alot of time just getting it running. im enjoying it for now and then ill work on making it look really good maybe during the winter.

Hard to say.. they are both so completely different and have such a diff feel about them.. The old school is so raw and really puts you in touch with the car and the 997 is refined but just crazy fast. As you can see I couldnt pick one or the other, so I got both Now im thinking about another one for a track car..lol

Hi My name is Marc and I have a problem..im addicted to Porsches

well its a beauty - and so it the 997....S !!

having to choose which one to drive each day must be a nice feeling. I bet the 997 gets more daily use, they are pretty easy to hop in and GO

Thanks.. I would agree with that.. the 997 is more of a DD and the Targa is more of a crusin on the weekend and having people come up and say "Man thats cool.. thats the car on the maxell poster I used to have in my room when I was growing up"

I may be dating myself with the entire Maxell thing..lol
