My all-time favorite race car was the 956/962 during the IMSA GTP years. Al Holbert was my favorite driver, was gutted when he died. Would love to see any of those cars running live.

Beautiful. Wish you had a full car overhead view shot, would love to make a t-shirt with it.

If anyone really feels they need their own 962 this one is for sale:

All I ask is 3 laps as my "finders fee".

I was there Friday. It was VERY cool when the 962 blew by me on the back straight. Did I mention that it was cool when he passed me?

if you can afford a 962, an indy car, a semi to haul them and all the tools and multiple sets of tires/wheels, a 3 man + driver crew, 2 gas golf carts and a motorhome big enough to sleep everyone you can afford to buy new clothes when you go on vacation

It looks okay but the seat and the knicked up shift linkage would kill you chances at the local PCA concours. And it looks like aluminum floor/bulkhead shows signs of dust!

I've got the new fuel lines for mine, I'm planning on installing them and starting it up again in the next week or two.
