Getting ready for first mods

M&K 1 in / 2 out GT3 muffler, ceramic coated
M&K Euro pre-muffler
Older Momo steering wheel and hub, will be doing the center cap horn button mod
SW chip
turbo tie rods
74 Oil Pressure/Oil Temp gauge with senders
Magnecor ignition wires
Euro bumpers
Veronica's engine is also being dropped to repair a seal leak. Kevin Wheeler of KMW Motorsports in Boca Raton will be doing most of the work and I'll try to do some of the simpler things...still learning!

Nice. I still have a box of stuff to do from my first Pelican order after I got my current 911. Every order after that, more gets added to the to-do box.

This is what they call the "slippery slope."

Done

Kevin at KMW in Boca Raton did a great job. I didn't put the Euro bumper guards on because of fit and paint but everything else went well.
The front seal leak is fixed, oil change done, turbo tie rods on and car aligned, Steve Wong chip in, Magnecor wires in, older oilpressure/ oil temp gauge in, the steering wheel and horn button mod is on, and the M&K cat bypass and GT3 1-in, 2-out muffler are installed. The low end is stronger, acceleration is very smooth, and the muffler sounds great (and loud).
A couple of photos and a short video of the exhaust.

The video

I haven't had a chance to go on the highway yet.
Tomorrow, I'm going to take it for a longer ride and I'll let you know; my guess is there will be some, and the drive will give me a chance to find the sweet spot where it is minimized.

I would be real curious if those rear bumperettes work for you ...and if so where you found them - I have a set i was hoping to put on....but there is a lower valance issue that is causing me a stop work order.....seems the valance on the SC and earlier is forward about 1/2 an inch from the 86' which means the rubber hits and there is a 1/2 inch gap still!!

DOH !!

nice pile - post pics!

Ed, actually, Kevin tried to put them on but was having problems with fit. He called me up and said don't bother with them. I did call Pelican before hand and asked if the bumpers would fit my car (87 coupe) and they said they would. I'll be returning them to Pelican as soon as I remember to call them about an RMA. Here they are

Don't bother with bumperettes. Lowe's sells plastic caps/plugs that fit perfectly in the holes left behind by the bumperettes. Really lightens the rear of the car, literally and visually. To illuminate the rear plate, I'm using the license plate bolts with LED's in them.

Will, that's what I'm heading towards. How many holes were there in the bumper?
BTW, beautiful color on your car...it's got a green tint to it...what is it?

Thank you. The color is Oak Green Metallic. People mistake it for black all the time, until they get close. It used to be Ferry's favorite color.

There are 4 holes that need the plugs popped in. I can't remember the size you need, but they were like $4 at Lowe's. The plugs are very low profile, so after I painted them with touch up paint I had laying around, you can barely see them. Plus, if you ever wanted to go back, you can pop them out and reinstall the bumperettes.
