Spacers for ruf wheels on converted turbo look 911

I need spacers for my Turbo look 911...the wheels are ruf speedlines. My car started life as a 1978 SC and all parts are factory to that year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Rob

We need to know the offsets of the RUF wheels to give you an answer.

If the Ruf wheels are the later offsets (ET50ish or so), you're going to need some gigantic spacers! I have a widebody '80SC convert, and have 17"x9" ET15 wheels, and needed 2" spacers to move them out to fill the rear fenders. With ET 50ish wheels, you will need a bunch more than the 2" to make them work. I think you'll need another 1.5", giving you a a 3.5" spacer to use the later offset wheels, and that's one hell of a spacer! If the Ruf wheels are for the earlier offset ie.ET15, all you will need is a 2" spacer. I really don't
know what you will need in the front.

I'm running 8's & 9"s with 13mm Spacers in the front and 35mm Spacers in the rear which fill out the wheel wells nicely

Fronts 17 x 9 ah e=17.7
Rears 17 x 10 dl e=5

The wheels are on the car and surely I'm gonna need spacers both front and rear. Need them before the weekend so we can test drive the car.

Looks like you have "early offset Rufs". Looks just like my widebody '80SC conversion before I added 1" spacer in front and 2" spacer in the rear.

I think I'm using 43mm in the rear, and about 24mm in front. About 99% certain. (From memory)
I got the 9x17 ET17,7 in front, and 10x17 ET5 on rear. These rims are about as far out as you can get them. Meaning if you got soft suspension and wide tires, you may have clearance issues.

Now I have checked what others are using, and I am no longer so sure about my offset on my wheels... Sorry!
