Carrera Script Decal Install Location

I'm about to install the Carrera script decal on the sides of the car.

Is there a consensus of how far up the sides to put it? For example, 2" above bottom of door?

From which point should I be using to measure the vertical height, and what is that heigh number?

Thanks!!

I start mine exactly 1 3/4" from the bottom of the door- then be very meticulous about levelling the decal- I install mine DRY- I find installing them wet helps with bubbles on the flat parts but makes it impossible to wrap the fenders...

Hope that helped.

50mm from lower edge of door.
Left side ¨C¨ starts 10mm from front edge of door
Right side last ¨a¨ finishes just before the front edge of door.

I didn't see in his instructions any measurements. Just "put it where you think it should go".

LOL....I have no idea where they should go.....

I meant the instructions on how to install the decal. Yes, he does not give any measurements.
But I gave you the measurements.
You can see the pictures of the white and red Porsches that full_garage posted and figure out the measurements I gave you.

There is an official Porsche factory document with the correct dimensions for proper application.I have this somewhere from the 80's when I restored RS 1126 and 2 others.back in the late 80's.I will look for it but it may still be available from Porsche perhaps some one knows a parts person who will search for it.It was a semi-gloss printed spec sheet not a photo copy.

Joe Bob,

I've been looking for the Carrera Script for quite a while now and did indeed find one, but was not able to install that script (is a damaged file).
Is there a possibility for me getting your version of the Carrera Script?

If you are asking me to provide to you my vector file for the side script, sorry that is proprietary. Took me a long time to get it right. I would be happy to sell it to you. or the finished product. but the file would cost more than the finished product.....

The exact mounting locations are shown in the body section of the workshop manual, with photos (section 8? 9?). I'm at work and don't have it with me, but can scan and post later if no one has it available.
