Just installed!
I got a call last year from a fellow car nut who told he had a pair of Recaros just sitting around and wondered if they would fit the Porsche. Well, job is done my son installed these in a matter of an hour or so. For those asking - yes a colour change is in the works for the interior.

that's a great looking pair of seats, good score. That color would go perfect in my car

Did they bolt right in, or were special adapters rigged up?

Those look like factory VW Recaros, from a 91-92 GTI or Jetta GLI. Great seats.

They "bolt" right in. You need to bore out a couple of holes at the front of the original tracks and we shimmed it so the handles work properly. And yes they came out of a VW Trophy. They have been in the basement for years unmolested and are in very good condition! Went for a nice long drive this afternoon - very comfortable!
