Cabriolet Rear Plastic Window

I need to replace the rear plastic window on my '89 Cabriolet. Would anyone know of the best source/ supplier out there for the window?

I've "seached" the forum and found threads from years ago recommending GAHH and Cabriolet Top Guys? Do I go with them or are there others you recommend?

Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Jay

Is it torn or really cloudy? I used turtle wax headlight restorer on mine and it almost looks new. Just thought I would offer that before you replace it.

Hi cashman, not torn but very cloudy and yellowish so I actually went that route and tried several products including the highly recommended PLEXUS plastic cleaner which cleared up the cloudiness a bit. But since the car had just gone through a minor restoration with a fresh coat of paint and new rubber trimmings, the plastic window now stands out like a sore thumb with everything else on the car looking new. So I've decided to replace the window. I just need a good source.

Thanks for chiming in!

The turtle wax is only 10 bucks and will be more aggressive than plexus. I would try it before attempting to replace it. You may run into sewing issues if your canvas is old and frail. Just a suggestion. It did an awesome job on my Infiniti headlights which gave me the idea to try it on my vinyl window.

plexus is weak. it is more of a mild protectant. a proper polish should do the job.
