anyone running without a headliner?

any pics? anyone running without a headliner?

i am about to pull all glass for a paint job, and just curious what it would look like with no headliner...

i am not concerned with sound, and the car has a "race like" theme...so wondering if this would fit.

Its not quite what you are after, but I will explain why. I had the sunfoof removed and a panel welded in, so I didn't think it was neat enough to leave in paint. So I used 5mm foam spray glued in and then glued light grey perforated vinyl to that. Metal work was sprayed matt black just to be unobtrusive.

This is before cage

And another view with the cage

I have seen others use felt glued to the roof for a 911R type of look.

I know you said you weren't concerned about sound but if you plan to drive much on the street at all, I think gluing some felt (a la 911r) would be a minimum. . . I'd think it'd be unbearable loud and tin-canny w/out something up there.

There are a few threads w/pics showing this - one or two TRE cars, and a few individual cars too. I think the felt look is super clean. . .
