Oest Enterprises.
I drove by the former location in Torance, and the building is closed.
Has Dieter relocated his shop? Or did he retire? Thanks, Gerry

Hi
I have been looking for information on Dieter Oest. He did a lot of work on my car, before I got it, AFAIK he has retired and the shop is no more. Sounds like you know the shop . Do you know if there was a Oest enterprises license plate frame ? I have been searching for one. |

Over and above being a nice guy, great mechanic and race car driver, one of the more interesting stories about Dieter, is that his father was the German Army translator at Stalag Luft III, and was present during the "Great Escape". Some of his father's stories were very interesting! When did he retire? Here's a link: Dieter Oest's cars - Photo Gallery - Racing Sports Cars
