Sell or keep old FI components......
My car was converted to Webers when the PO rebuilt it to 2.7
He retained all of the previous fuel injection components and included them with the car. I've hung on to them in case the next owner ever wanted to return the car to original. As I ponder a move to EFI, I'm wondering if I should retain the old fuel injection components, or sell them to defray the cost of the EFI project. This is a very nice car, but not concours; the motor has been rebuilt and it's been painted a non Porsche color. Is it reasonable to think that a future owner would want to have the original FI components? |

Yes, save the MFI.
If you think that you will sell the car at some point the MFiI will have significant value both in $$ terms and interest. Just check the prices on early cars with and without. |

Never throw an original part away. I even kept my old (and broken) CIS fuel pump. At some point this stuff is going to be desirable. We just don't know when. Save everything.
