Dash Lights always on!!! DRAIN BATTERY

I have a porsche 1976 Targa with an upgraded 3.0l engine

Yesterday i went to start my car and it was dead. I had to jump start the car to get it going. I noticed the front dash lights/ instrument lights were all on. With the parking light illuminated. I pushed the light knob all the way in, turned it all the way to the left/right. Tried everything!! the parking lights won't turn off.

Is it the headlight switch that needs changing.... Is there anyway to test it?

Thanks in advance!
Chris

Check the wires behind the switch. Check to be sure the switch is bolted in properly (not loose).

Luck
