Where to draw the Line - the "while I'm there" syndrome

I dropped the motor in my '83 SC in February thinking that I would put a new exhaust on and a new clutch. Well, about $5k later I've done way too many things to list. The latest venture is to clean and paint the heater flapper boxes (still taking off the car), but this should be the last thing before I start installing the motor. The car is almost 30 years old so it deserved a refresh. It is especially tough given the Summer like weather we have had here in the Midwest. I've finally had a weekend that I could put some serious effort into the car and it is getting there. I've done just about everything I could think of and if it leaks any oil on my new SSI's I will be bummed!

Stay tuned and keep an eye out for me on the road ...
