Pics of my "refreshed" 71' 911E
After purchasing a 911E from ennisk1 a little over a year ago, I decided that I wanted to do a color change. I have always liked Light Ivory on the early cars, but the right one never popped up for sale. The car I purchased from Keith had a Martini paint scheme (see here for the sales thread: 1971 911E "Martini" Hot Rod). Although I did like the car as purchased, I could not get Light Ivory out of my head

Very nice! I really like that color! I wonder if that color would work with an orange stripe up the center? (For my project).
Enjoy!

Crockey, it is beautiful. Light Ivory is a great color but I have biased opinion on the matter.

Very very desirable! Well done. I love the piston look gear housing on the early cars. Is that the D Zug shift knob , home grown or other?

Shift knob was a gift from my wife from TRE for Christmas. Had to wait 3 months to finally put it on ![]() |

Sweet!
What's written on the driver's door under the vent window?
