Some clarification on fitting new sunroof seals please
I have been researching how to fit the felt seals around my sunroof. The original felt seals were removed so I can't reference how they were done.
I have read that you do not cut the seals but instead angle the longer down on the last inch so it 'disappears' into the opening in the roof. Another thread (and Wayne's book) implies that you cut the seals so they meet each other when the sunroof is closed. Which is the right way to do it. The 'angling' down approach seems logical to overcome the possibility that the seal will shrink over time. The cutting method doesn't seem to be perfectly water tight to me. Thanks.

I just did this last night, You angle the seal down and let it go under the roof panel.
Make sure you install the flat side of the seal to the body!! I hope this helps Kevin |

Thanks Kevin. I was hoping this would be the way to go.
