Difference between 911/02 and 911/01?

What's the difference between the above transmissions.
The 02 went in the S are the ratios different?

LeeM,

I don’t think I have ever seen a type 911/02 transmission although DaveP may prove me wrong.
If you have an example, I would be VERY intrested to see it and offer what help I can.

For ’70-’71, the only 'standard' transmissions available were:
911/00 – Standard, 4-speed; 11:34, 19:31, 25:26, 29:22; 7:31.
911/01 – Standard 5-speed: 11:34, 18:32, 23:28, 27:25, 29:22; 7:31.
905/20 – Sportomatic; 15:36, 20:31, 24:27, 28:24; 7:27.
The ratios did not vary depending on T/E/S models.

And – the ‘Special’ ratios:
911/80 – “Standard – Special option”, 7319101-7319200.
911/81 – “For hill climbs”, 7319201-7319300.
911/82 – “For airport circuits”, 7319301-7319400.
911/83 – “For fast circuits”, 7319401-7319500.
911/84 – “Nuerburgring ratios”, 7319501-7319600.
And two un-typed transmissions “Ratios to order” that have number sequence 73190xx for a 5-speed and 74190xx for a 4-speed (I have never seen a 4-speed version).
Very few of these ‘special’ transmissions were built (single digit?). Clearly not using all the available assignments.

Best,
Grady
