Wiring from engine compartment to dash area?

Quick ?
I'm trying to wire my 964 decklid/spoiler on my '77 911.
Where do I route the wired so that I can go from the tail motor/microswitches to the front of the Porsche (dash).
Is there a hole or something I'm not seeing?
Also, do I just bury wires under the carpet?
Best,
Pete

There is a small tunnel inside the upper right side of the center tunnel that the factory wiring harness uses to keep the wires away from the shift linkage.

It would be very difficult to feed it through there without dropping the tranny. You may be able to use a fish tape from where the bundle enters the front of the tunnel next to the gas pedal, but that won't be easy either.

Pete,

Well, if you don't have a rear fog lamp, you could use the spare Green/White wire that is already in the wiring harness ... it goes from the dashboard to the left rear taillamp housing.

Hi Pete,
I was interested in what method of hinges you used to install the C2 deck lid, was it the C2 hinges with the mount welded on the side? I have one to install also, just haven't had time to work on it for a while.

I ran some wires for a cylinder head temp gauge through the center tunnel where the wire harness is, as stated above.

I am not sure how well an eighties car compares, but you can run wiring through the drivers side corner of the engine bay. This can be seen from underneath easily. This is where they run the AC compressor lines into the engine. There is a grommet under the carpeting in the sheet metal in the footwell behind the driver's seat to get the wiring into the interior.

Hey thanks for the replies.
I did use modified c2 hinges. They worked, but I had an issue w/ the keyed bolt that allows the hinge to spin freely. It was too short and the c2 lid didn't accept this. My buddy welded a nut to my bracket which fixed the problem... pretty painless, but I've never heard of this prob before!
Thanks for the advice! All I need now is time!
Pete
