993 cam profiles ?

Do the 993 and 993 Varioram have the same cam profile?

I mean do they use the same cams?

Also, is there any difference on the cams from a '95 993 and a '97 993?

It's difficult to get the specs on the late cams, this is the best I've been able to come up w/, the 993 base, RS, Cup, & RSR specs are from factory docs, the 993 vram specs from a German tuner


early 993 cams use the 911/964 style drives, 993 and 993RS use the friction style, both of mine have Webcam RS spec w/ the older style drive

I have to do a valve job soon on my 993... I have access to web cams 993 RS euro spec cams for the stock 993 FI... did you feel a difference on performance?
I have also contemplating adding Fabspeed Sportcat X-Pipe with the 993 Supercup Exhaust System.... and ECU re-flash at the dyno.... I was told that my car can get very close to the 3.8L rs engine performance.... Any thoughts, ideas, recommendations? I'm all ears!
