REKTOR 911 Modernized Hot Rod Build
After many months of discussions and designs, REKTOR which is defined as "A Ruler" has been born. Using a 74 tub as platform, Rektor will become a very fast and agile modernized hot rod weighing in at about 2500 pounds. The car will have some unique features and design. Here are a few drawings to get us started. Stay tuned I promise this will be an entertaining build.

Freddie, Interesting study by your designer. I really like the chin spoiler, simplified horn grills, and I am looking forward to the execution of the door handles...I am hoping they are what I think they will be =)
The one thing I could recommend...ditch the 'Singer' headlights. It is the one thing that will forever make this design an also-ran. How do you get the heat out of the motor compartment? sub'd!

Is this a low cost Singer?
Just kidding, it looks very promising.

Yes as with all my threads, you will stay informed. As the project build continues, your inquiries will be answered. As with most designs, the build sheets are never set in stone. I have already changed some things that are shown on the art work.

Freddy, beautiful, and hopefully way cheaper than a Singer. Love the simplicity of the front and rear treatments. The color combo is nice also. I'm looking forward to this one.

oh... a SINGER 2.0 ?
dont get me wrong... great stuff! what mechatronic is doing with old mercedes is lacking a lot for 911s. I wait for the day, where somebody puts a 72/73 on a cayman frame !!

Of course it will be cheaper than the Singer! Start placing your orders early. There will be many color options...

Those sketches look amazing. I would love to see that tailpipe arrangement realized.

Gorgeous concepts! They certainly do lend themselves to what Singer has done, but of course, it's hard to get away from that when you have the best attributes of the 911 conceptually built into one car.
I feel like you can get to ~90% of what a Singer is, and spend "only" up to a third of that cost, and given your reputation I believe you'd be the man to do it. Good luck! Can't wait to see the process!

We start buy reinforcing the front end of the car especially around any suspension connecting points. Replacing old panels with new. The nose of the car must be backdated to that of a 73. All welds must be applied hot and ground smooth.
Also remove all obstructions that will prevent us from building the front end full carbon fiber bumper. ![]() ![]() ![]()
