Glovebox Lock Question(s)

The previous owner of my 85 targa removed the lock barrel from the glovebox knob. I'd like to replace it and key it to my ignition/door key. I've read Wayne's excellent article on re-keying in 101 Projects, but I am having difficulty finding a barrel to re-key. Does the glovebox use the same barrel as the doors? If not, does anyone know a part number/source for the glovebox barrel?
My cd changer is in the glovebox and I would like it to stay there.

The silence is deafening, but thanks for reading. I guess there's no easy answer for this. I've written to the PCA interiors expert, so hopefully will get some help there. If not, its time to cruise the junkyards. Should be a nice Saturday drive.

All I know is that my glovebox lock stopped working--jammed in the locked position--and I was able to remove it and took it to the best locksmith in town, who said there didn't exist a lock he couldn't fix or at least pick. (I said I just wanted it returned to a turn-to-open latch function, didn't care whether or not it locked.) A month later, he called, abashed, and said he'd spent hours working on it and had no idea how to open it. I got a used one from Partsheaven--no key, just the lock--for $35.
