who's running 245/45/17 in rear

went to get tires for car today . wanted 255/40/17, but not a lot in this size in stock. plenty 245/45/17. the 245 is .6 taller .4 narrower. any rubbing issue with taller size.

There are a lot of excellent 255/40 x17 choices, there is absolutely no reason to use 245 x17 rear unless you have the wrong wheel width or ET

Here are a few, there are lots of others

BS Potenza RE-11, Potenza RE070

Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec

Hankook Ventus R-S3

Toyo Proxes R1R

Dunlop Star Specs in 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 is a great option for a street tire and they are also a great value for the dollar,on top of being outstanding rain tires for the track !

Cheers !

Byron,

You have way too many wheels ... those Forgelines would be exactly what i'm looking for as far as extra track wheels

Cheers !

Do you have any pictures of your 17" wheels? I'm about to order a set for my 930 and would like to see what they look like in 17. Thanks

i will take some picture in the morning and post them. they look like regular fuchs 16x9 , but 17. they are pretty lite also. i paid 690.00 with shipping for all 4 wheels because they had 10% off when i ordered. i am not a wheel expert but they are going to look DAM GOOD! on my car.

So you run the same offset as my 930. Didn't know they were the same being mine has the larger fenders.

How long did it take you to get the euromeisters? Did it take a few weeks or months to get it. Im planning to get either euromeister or linea corse fox.
