Oil collecting in #6 cylinder exhaust manifold

I have stored my 1982 SC for approx 8 months while collecting parts ( PMO/webbers/Mag p'up ignition, fan shroud, etc). This weekend I pulled the existing tube headers off prior to dropping the engine, about 2 oz of motor oil had collected in the # 6 cylinder exhaust tube.
Has anyone else encountered this - and is there a fix that does not involve a complete engine rebuild?
Thanks.

Sounds normal as the engine sump fills right up when sitting for a long time and a little leaks past the rings and valves. The best solution is to drive the car!
