Steering repair?

My steering wheel is moving up and down a small amount. I thought my mechanic said it was a bushing that was bad.

Is it the steering wheel bushing or repair sleeve listed here?

http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/POR_911M_miscel_pg5.htm

How hard is it to repair? I just bought a 930 steering wheel and will have it all apart?

Thanks

My car is doing the exact same thing and I am planning on sliding the repair sleeve in.Do a search on this site under steering wheel bushings or steering slop and you will find info on how to change it.It sounds really easy. Good luck

KTL I had read that post but was not sure they were discussing the same thing as they were discussing the wheels moving and stuff. My situation is that you can move the steering wheel up (towards the roof) and down.

So do I need both parts? Bushing and sleeve?

Thanks.

P.S. KTL I see you were listing that you were adding the B&B. Did you do it yet? I keep reading the posts on here and Renn and there is so much discrepancy regarding sound, quality, fit, etc.

I just want to upgrade the muffler (not the headers) and switch from a single out to a dual out with 4" rolled tips.

Some better and balanced looks, more aggressive sound, and maybe a little horsepower increase are my reasons for doing it.

Got the exhaust stuff sitting in my spare bedroom. Still have to do the chain ramps and tensioners, and the rear suspensions bushings and torsion bars. I'll put up a picture when it's done. I'll throw in my 2 cents about the sound as well.
