Measuring my Fuchs

Hello all,

How do I measure my fuchs to see what size I actually have ? I think I have 7 & 8's but was told that my rears are 9's.

Do I measure inner edge to outer edge ?

Thanx in advance !

Look at the part number on the wheel.

Rim width is measured at the bead seat, not the outer edges. If you measure from edge to edge, subtract approx. 1" to get the real width.

While it's true that most aftermarket wheels will measure 1" more than the bead width, both Fuchs and BBs are exceptions. They both use a narrower lip than other wheels.

Fuchs will measure ~.65" more edge to edge than at the bead
a 6" will measure ~6.65" edge to edge
a 7" will measure ~7.65" edge to edge
a 8" will measure ~8.65" edge to edge
a 9" will measure ~9.65" edge to edge
