Official C.R.A.P. Gruppe Registry

Due to unexpected membership requests I will edit this first post with your official number.

Well I have been slinging C.R.A.P. around for a while now and it appears that many have enjoyed particpating in this C.R.A.P. I have also noticed that several members have started to indicate in their sig line that they are C.R.A.P. members. In response to this I have decided to start the Offical C.R.A.P. Gruppe Registry. The rules of membership are simply you must have a Cab with at least one piece of C.R.A.P. installed on it. [Note a cool can oil cooler does not count]. Since membership in such a gruppe is tracked by number your Official C.R.A.P. number will be the order in which you submit to this thread. Please keep in mind that you should only have one number. If you have more than one car that is C.R.A.P. compliant then you have a pile of C.R.A.P. but you still have only one number. Please do not skip numbers or step on someone elses C.R.A.P. I am sorry if anyone feels their C.R.A.P. is better than someone elses C.R.A.P. but the truth is C.R.A.P. is what it is. Also if you happen purge yourself of all your C.R.A.P. you are still stuck with your C.R.A.P. number if your feel the need you may edit your original membership post as having passed your C.R.A.P. So enough C.R.A.P. rules and may you forever display your C.R.A.P. proudly.

Clarification due to twisted C.R.A.P. In order to quality for registry it must have an open top, that would most would consider a Cabriolet. A T.U.R.D. though nearly C.R.A.P. is still a T.U.R.D. unless you perfrom a T.U.R.Dectomy and make it a piece of C.R.A.P. The 914 series I believe would officially be a T.U.R.D. but if the top has been removed for racing performance then it is in all likelyhood C.R.A.P. material. There should be no selling or bartering your C.R.A.P. placement. A turbo would be compressed C.R.A.P. Please do not make an entry that say subscribed as this messes with the order of C.R.A.P. and there is a subscribe function at the bottom of the page where you don't have to make a useless entry just to watch everyone elses C.R.A.P. Sorry for all the other C.R.A.P. out there but this is a Porsche Gruppe so the Audi though perhaps a member of the larger family does not qualifyd

For purposes of discussion I will start another thread titles C.R.A.P. Gruppe discussion where you may ask all your C.R.A.P. questions.

I have a semi-cab but most of the C.R.A.P. has been tossed...including the windshield. My biggest pieces of C.R.A.P. are a couple of large chuncks of melted down fishing weights. The car is a 914 which is a NARP peice of C.R.A.P. Do I qualify?

So, am I C.R.A.P. number 2 or 3? (Proud owner of an '84 Cab track/street car)

Gee, thanks David!

Where does that leave all us T.U.R.D.s now?

I don't think it is prudent to start distinguishing C.R.A.P. from T.U.R.D.s. At the very least, it is messy business.

I hope you guys don't end up like the R Gruppe. That would be really crappy.

Mike

I'm #8....

Now I have to figure out a special ringtone that's exclusive to the C.R.A.P Gruppe.

In celebration of this clearly historical moment, I have edited my User Decscription appropriately...

Looks like I will be upgrading my front end to Bilsteins soon. More C.R.A.P. I am also planning on destroying my 83 cabriolet to buld something like this (rough draft at this point):

Isn't it a hoot? I had my C.R.A.P. shirt on last night atteh grocery store and ran into a guy I have not seen in a while. He is Vette driver, Z06, but he was clearly enamored with my C.R.A.P. Could not keep his eyes off of it. Sad really...

boba, any pics? I wish I could be a member of C.R.A.P. but much like my head, the roof of my car is hard solid.

I'd love to see pics of longhood cabrios, though - I've seen very few, and some were pretty lousy hack jobs.
