Have a 1984 and the lower two speed of my A/C blower work, but the high speed does not. Any thoughts or experience on the most likely source of the problem?

Check into the blower resistor in the passenger foot-well. Pull out the floor mat, the foot well carpet (not the side carpet) and unscrew the wooden board.
In there you will find one of these (see link). This meters the amount of juice going to your fan and is often the culprit. FS: Blower Fan Resistor Block |

You can test the circuit at the shut resistor pack.
If contacts on the thermal points are good and the circuit tests OK. .... Replace the fan speed switch. |
