Comparison between Goodyear / Avon compounds
Anyone ever see a comparison between Goodyear and Avon compounds?
Like a Goodyear 165 is comparable to an Avon A50 compound. I tried all kinds of Internet searches, but this jewel is simply missing.

I would be very skeptical of any comparison offered unless it included skidpad times or lap times and they would have to be very back to back. The "I drove on both and I think..." type of reviews tend to make me cringe,
The 2nd part of a valid review is a 2nd test after multiple heat cycles. Hard data followed by length of life data is what it takes.

Compound comparison
Thanks for the heads up.
What you suggest, from the viewpoint of a report, would be wonderful; however there doesn't seem to be much data available. Tough to make a decision on tires when they are super expensive and it's a total WAG.
